POPULATION AND COMMUNITY

POPULATION

A group of individuals of a particular species occupying a particular area at a specific time is called as population.

Ex-The entire student body at a school. Lotus plant of a perticular Lake

COMMUNITY

Community is defined as the group of organisms of different species living in same area and interacting with each other.

Ex- a forest of trees and undergrowth plants, inhabited by animals and rooted in soil containing bacteria and fungi,
